MAKING MUSIC WITH ELECTRIC VIOLIN

He is Arthur Collins,he is originally from california, but now lives and studies mechanical engineering in Switzerland. He is an amazing musicians with a big passion, you can hear it from his music!!!
He speaks German, French, English and some Spanish. He started playing the violin when he was 7, loves creating things, like making music and building instruments.
He has a really big talent and you can’t miss him!!!

And now the great ADVICE from Arthur about violin 

VIDEO ADVICE

When you play the violin, your left hand should not be supporting the violin in any way! The violin itself should only be held in place by your schoulder and chin. You want your hand to be free, only applying pressure between your thumb and fingers, when pressing down on the strings. By keeping your hand relaxed and making sure it is not cramped around the neck, you will be able to play faster and more precisely!

Lui è Arthur Collins, californiano, ma che vive e studia ingegneria meccanica in Svizzera. Un grande musicista pieno di passione, che potete sicuramente notare nel suo stile unico. Parla tedesco, francese e anche un pò di spagnolo, iniza a studiare il violino all’età di 7 anni , adora creare “cose” , come ad esempio strumenti! Ragazzi è un talento non c’è dubbio!

Non mi ero veramente appassionato al violino e alla musica fino a che non ho trovato il mio stile personale. Alcuni amici mi hanno mostrato com’è semplice migliorare con un buon allenamento, così ho cominciato a studiare un pò di jazz e blues, e alla fine una serie di stili diversi.Credo che una delle motivazioni più grande nel suonare uno strumento, sia quello di trovare la propria musica, che vogliamo suonare al meglio. Quindi se vuoi suonare Rock an’roll,  insegna a te stesso come si fa!!

CONSIGLIO:
Quando suoni il violino, la tua mano sinistra non dovrebbe sostenere il violino in nessun modo! Lo strumento dovrebbe essere tenuto in posizione solo dalla tua spalla e dal tuo mento. Per avere la mano libera, dovresti fare pressione solo tra il  pollice e le dita, quando premi sulle corde. Tenendo la tua mano rilassata e assicurandoti di non avere crampi al collo, a questo punto sarai in grado sicuramente di suonare con più velocità e precisione!
