A night with: Ray Chen

RAY CHEN, 26 anni, super violinista, così giovane già famoso in tutto il mondo, vincitore del “Queen Elisabeth ” (2009) e “Yehudi Menuhin Competitions” (2008), ha pubblicato 3 album acclamati dalla critica Sony, in più cerca di rompere le barriere tra musica classica, fashion e cultura pop (infatti è anche supportato da Giorgio Armani). Si può dire che Ray è un “esempio” per tutti , poiché dedica tutte le sue energie al suo lavoro da musicista, che lo porta ad essere uno dei picchi mondiali a livello di Musica Classica, ma anche per il suo simpaticissimo lato umano, infatti vanta di 1 milione di seguaci su SoundCloud , altrettanti sui vari social media come  Twitter , Facebook and Instagram, anche grazie ai suoi divertentissimi video che ritraggono, in una versione del tutto ironica,la serietà delle più famose orchestre del mondo e la vita quotidiana del “musicista”.

Roma,21,23 & 24 Novembre, Parco della Musica, accompagnato dall’orchestra dell’ Accademia Santa Cecilia e diretto da Vasily Petrenko, Ray ha suonato per noi il concerto per violino e orchestra di Lalo, Symphonie Espagnole. Dopo di che…l’assurdo proseguire di una  serata inaspettata… a fine esibizione mi incontro con David Skudlik, un caro amico di Ray (creatore del suo sitoweb), ci siamo conosciuti tramite Instagram, grazie alla passione in comune per la musica classica, ed è stato proprio grazie a lui che ho incontrato personalmente Ray, scambiandoci inizialmente qualche buon commento riguardo l’eccellente esibizione e una generale presentazione. 
Ma il bello è arrivato dopo! Finito di cenare con David ed altre due amiche, ecco che ci raggiunge Ray, dopo un business dinner all’interno dell’Auditorium, con una faccia alquanto stanca dopo una giornata simile. 
Nonostante la stanchezza, Ray si è seduto al tavolo con noi, sorseggiando un Negroni, permettendoci qualche foto e autografo iniziale, per poi lasciarsi andare tra risate e relax, concedendosi un momento di svago dopo il duro lavoro, tra sciogli lingua italiani e canzoni pop! 
Una personalità umile e deliziona, simpatico e sciolto. Ci ha offerto la serata come farebbe un grande amico! In cambio, da buoni nuovi amici Italiani, gli abbiamo offerto un passaggio all’hotel!
Questi sono i veri artisti, le grandi personalità che spiccano, le persone che meritano il successo che hanno! Duro lavoro e grande semplicità d’animo! Grazie Ray per questa piacevole  serata inaspettata!

RAY CHEN, 26 years, super violinist, really young but he is loved in all parts of the world, winner of the “Queen Elizabeth” (2009) and “Yehudi Menuhin Competitions” (2008), he has released three critically acclaimed albums on Sony, he try to break down the barriers between classical music, fashion and pop culture (in fact it is also supported by Giorgio Armani). We can say that Ray is a “Example” for everybody , great dedication to his work that leads him to be one of the best in the classical music world, but also for his brilliant human side, in fact 2 million people follow him on SoundCloud , also to other social media platforms like Twitter , Facebook and Instagram, also thanks to his really funny videos, where you can see, in a version completely ironic, the seriousness of the most famous orchestras and about musicians lifestyle.

Rome,21,23 and 24 November, Parco della Musica, with Academy of Santa Cecilia orchestra and directed by Vasily Petrenko, Ray has played for us the concerto for violin and orchestra by Lalo, Symphonie Espagnole. After that…the absurd continue to an unexpected evening!!! … at the end of his exhibition, I have met David Skudlik , a good friend of Ray ( the creator of Ray’s website), I knew him by Instagram, thanks to common passion for classical music, it was exactly thanks to him that I had  met Ray personally, initially swap a general presentation and I wanted remarks his excellent performance.
But the nice arrived after, when finished dinner with David and two other friends,Ray was back, after a business dinner in the Auditorium, with a tired face after a day like this.
Despite the tiredness, Ray sat down at the table with us, sipping a Negroni, allowing us some pics and signing, and after he gradually relaxed and let himself go, after the hard work, between italian tongue-twister and pop songs!
A humble and delicious personality, nice and smart, he offered the evening like a bestfriend can do! To thank him for that we gave him a passage to the hotel like new Italian friends!
These are the true artists and the great personalities that stand out, the people who deserve their success! Hard work and great heart! Thanks Ray for this unexpected pleasant evening!
